지구촌 현안 다뤄 국제적 제안·이니셔티브 도출하는 평화 허브 역할… 교육 프로그램 관련 국제 논의의 장 촉진

 

노벨평화상 수상자 월드서밋 사무국은 미하일 고르바초프의 측근으로, 페레스트로이카와 글라스토스트에 관해 조언을 해주던 바딤 V. 자글라딘 고문에 의해 2006년 로마에서 독립적, 비영리, 비정부기관으로 설립됐다. 사무국 운영의 목적은 평화의 메시지를 전파하고, 우리 지구의 가장 시급한 문제를 다루는 구체적이고 국제적인 제안 및 이니셔티브를 도출하는 것이다. 사무국은 평화 허브의 역할을 한다. 또 국제적, 지역적 이슈뿐 아니라 교육 프로그램에 대한 국제 논의의 장을 촉진한다.

 

The Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization established in Rome in 2006 by Vadim V.Zagladin, close advisor to Mikhail S.Gorbachev regarding perestroika and glasnost. It operates to Promote messages of peace and translate them into concrete international proposals and initiatives addressing the most pressing issues of our planet. The Permanent Secretariat acts as a PEACE HUB, and ecosystem that promotes the path to peace among all Countries and all populations. It also promotes international dialogues on global and local issues as well as educational programs.

천혜의 자연경관 등 강점 2024년 아시아 첫 동게청소년올림픽 개최… 내년 특별자치도 출범 새로운 도약 꿈 꿔

 

강원도는 한반도의 중동부에 위치하고 있고 한국의 알프스라고 불릴 만큼 자연경관이 수려하다. 아름다운 산과 푸르른 바다가 계절마다 고유의 특색을 가지고 있는 눈부신 매력을 지닌 곳이다. 2018평창동계올림픽을 성공적으로 개최했고, 2024년에는 아시아에서 처음 열리는 동계청소년올림픽인 2024강원동계청소년올림픽대회를 앞두고 있다. 강원도는 2023년 6월 강원특별자치도 출범을 계기로 새로운 도약을 꿈꾸고 있다.

 

Located in the Mideast of the Korean Peninsula, Gangwon Province boasts a picturesqe landscape. So much so that the region is sometimes referred to as the Alps of Korea. Beautiful mountains and the clear blue sea present a wide range of different colors and dazzling charms every season. Against such a marvelous natural backdrop, Gangwon Province successfully hosted the Olymic Winter Games PyeongChang2018. The first Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, the first Youth Olympic Games in Asia, will also be held in this region. 평균 해발 700m에 위치한 평창은 뚜렷한 사계절과 풍부한 먹거리, 천 년의 역사 속에서 수많은 문화유산을 간직한 도시다. 평창에서는 눈과 얼음을 만끽할 수 있는 각종 겨울 축제가 열린다. 또 알펜시아리조트, 용평리조트, 휘닉스파크 등 국내 최정상급 스키리조트는 동계스포츠를 즐기고 평창의 다양한 먹거리를 체험하려는 사람들로 북적인다. 인구는 약 4만3,000명이다. 도내에서는 11번째, 대한민국에서는 127번째로 많은 사람이 천혜의 환경 속에서 행복한 공동체로서의 삶을 영위하고 있다.

 

Located 700m above sea level, Pyeongchang''s high altitude provides a winter full of snow, ice, and a variety of winter festivals, People can enjoy winter sports and a diverse array of special food from Pyeongchang at Korea''s top ski resorts, including Alpensia Resort, the Yongpyong Resort, and Phoenix Park. The population of Pyeongchang is approximately 43,000(as of March 2017). This makes it the 11th biggest in Gangwon Province and 127th nationwide. Although Pyeongchang may initially seem somewhat smaller in population size when compared to other large cities, the benefits of a close community life and wonderful vegetation create a happy natural environment.

2018평창기념재단은 성공리에 개최된 평창올림픽의 유산 가치를 보존하고 그 성과를 계승, 발전시키고자 설립됐다. 유관기관과의 협력을 통해 다양한 올림픽 유산사업을 기획, 운영하고 있으며 동계스포츠 저변 확대와 평화와 화합이라는 ‘평창 가치’ 확산에 주력하고 있다. 평창기념재단은 평화의 상징이며 기쁨과 화합의 무대였던 ‘평창’을 전 세계에 기억되게 하도록 다양한 활동을 펼치며 모두의 가슴속에 평화와 화합의 울림이 지속되도록 노력해 나가고 있다.

 

The PyeongChang2018 Legacy Foundation was established to preserve the value of the lagacy of the successful Olympic and paralympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. It cooperates with wide range of relevant organizations. 광복과 함께 창간된 지역 최초 정론지…디지털시대 모바일 구독자 210만명 돌파·지방 유일 한국신문상 4차례 수상

 

강원일보는 1945년 광복과 함께 독립운동조직인 문화동지회에서 창간한 강원도 최초의 정론지다. 올해로 창간 77주년을 맞은 강원일보는 격동의 한국 현대사 한가운데서 역사의 증인으로 강원도와 지역 주민의 이익을 대변해왔다. 디지털 시대를 맞아 온라인 보도에도 적극 나서 지금은 210만명의 모바일 구독자를 유치하고 있다. 지방신문으로는 유일하게 한국신문상을 4차례 수상한 것을 비롯해 한국기자상과 언론대상, 국제보도상 등 수많은 수상을 통해 취재력을 인정받고 있다.

 

Kangwon Ilbo was the first broadsheet newspaper established in Gangwon Province. It was founded in 1945, the year Korea was liberated from Japanese rule, by Munhwa Dongjihoe, an organization for Koreas independence movement. Marking its 77th anniversary this year, the newspaper has served as a witness of the turbulent modern history of Korea. Kangwon Ilbo also recently launching 2.1 million mobile subscribers in a new Korean media environment. It is the first local newspaper to have received the Korea Newspaper Award four times. Its strong news coverage is well recognized both domesticaly and internaionally, earning it several awards including Korea Journalist Award, Korea Press Award and the Interntaional Reporting Award.
